Powerful and brooding as is the style. Monolithic in structure but a touch more open fruited than in 2006 and 2005. Tannins ripe but firm on the finish. Drink 2013-2022. 4 stars. Decanter Magazine |
Sandy nose. Hard work. But very rich and round on the palate. A little green and chewy but maximum efforts have been made to fight against this impression! Not full of life and a little heavy but squeezing maximum fruit out of it all. Drink 2013 - 2020. Jancis Robinson |
This shows lovely balance and finesse, with a solid core of ripe fruit, berry and light chocolate. Medium-to-full body, good texture and a fine finish. Excellent length. James Suckling |
