Tasting Notes

Good rich colour, very good concentration of blackcurrant fruit combining intensity and elegance, good ripeness with firm finish, should flesh out as it ages. Drink 2013-20. 4 stars.

Decanter Magazine

Fragile, rather weak nose. Then soft for a St-Estèphe even if with quite a bit of acidity. Short and a bit harsh. Very marked acidity. Not the most successful vintage for this property.

Jancis Robinson

Berry and spice character, with medium-to-light body, fine tannins and a short finish. Clean.

James Suckling

A light blackberry nose, quite leafy and with a little greenness. The palate is medium-bodied, lacking a little fruit concentration in the middle with a masculine, foursquare, slightly leafy finish. Lacks some depth and length but develops some freshness on the crisp finish. Tasted April 2008.
