A dark garnet colour. The nose has good fruit concentration, blackberry, violets and a touch of spice. Nice lift. The palate is full-bodied, grainy tannins, grippy with a leafy, slightly herbaceous core. But certainly harmonious, good depth and persistency with a firm grip towards the finish. Blackberry infused with tobacco and cedar. Good wine. Tasted April 2008. Neal Martin |
