Tasting Notes |
Year in, year out the style is unfailing - that wonderfully luxurious, sensuous texture and flavour. Unique is the only word. "Burgundian" floral, red fruit and spice aromas. Soft, rich, velvety fruit and rounded tannins. Drink 2011-2022. 4 stars. Decanter Magazine |
Very rich and round and sumptuous. Very different from most St-Émilions - much more luscious. Great freshness and some meatiness. Neat with no dryness. Lots of richness. Slightly sweet but not sickly. The 2006 tasted alongside looked even better: burgundian, full and easy but not harsh. Drink 2012-2020. Jancis Robinson |
